XTEND elements are fitted just like any other element with one key difference: The thermostat is lower in the geyser with the XTEND Flange model element than with a standard element.
To avoid water being too hot, and to maximise efficiencysetting the thermostat correctly is especially important.  
** Turn the thermostat DOWN by 5-10°C from the original setting **
