Xtend Elements supply a range of energy efficient elements to fit most geysers (hot water cylinders) using innovative PTC ceramic technology. This ensures our products are as efficient and effective as possible.

The elements are manufactured to the highest standards and comply with SANS 514 specifications as tested by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS). They are also CE approved and RoHS compliant, with design registrations lodged in the USA, Europe, Australia, South Africa and China.

We have elements to fit 100ltr, 150ltr, 200ltr and 250ltr geysers.

Don Reid is the inventor of Xtend Elements and has been involved in the geyser industry for more than 22 years. Aside from designing and producing Xtend Elements, he also designed, patented and built the production factory for the the world's first, and only, non-metallic geyser, known today as Xstream Geysers.

Don was also part of the SABS technical work groups that wrote the regulations and specifications for the manufacture of geysers, including the codes of practice for the installation of geysers. These regulations are still the prescribed national standard today.

Andrew is Xtend Elements's chief executive officer. In 2018, he invested in 120 Degrees and formed part of the team who took Xtend Elements from concept to production. Andrew studied commerce at UCT, qualified as a Chartered Accountant and completed his articles at Ernst & Young.

After returning to South Africa from working in London and New York, he started his career in the financial services industry. In 2003, he was part of a team that established and managed of the first hedge funds in South Africa. He founded Florin Capital Management and still works as an investment manager.

He has interests in a number of private companies.

William is focused on global sales for Xtend Elements. He started his working life on an equities desk on the JSE in South Africa in 1986. After two years, he joined the Tongaat-Hulett Group's sales team. He sold two developments of over 900 properties before emigrating to the UK where he was the Sales Director and part-owner of the Newfound Group. The group reported record sales of over $1.5 billion over 800 properties between 2002 and 2008.

William is back in South Africa and has explored the possibility of building new technologies in Africa. With his business partner, Francois Bruyns, he has acquired interests in various opportunities, of which Xtend Elements is one.

Francois is a qualified lawyer and has practiced law in the UK, South Africa and Australia. His principle business, across a few iterations, has been property development. He has worked on projects with Pinnacle Point Holdings, South Africa's largest golf estate company, and in conjunction with other estates, have generated over R1 billion in sales. He is a director and shareholder in Golf Development International Holdings (GDI), which was formed in 2006 and specialises in the marketing and development of high-end residential estates and golf projects in South Africa, West Africa and Mauritius. With his business partner, William Thompson, he has acquired interests in various product opportunities, of which Xtend Elements is one.
